Days Inn Schaumburg/Elk Grove

For the price, the room was nice and the nightly rate was very good, but the service fell short. I left a cell phone charger behind and called the same night I checked out, then several more times over the next few days. Nobody called me back. I would've appreciated even a call to say they hadn't found it. After three days of trying, I gave up.

The side entrance reeked of dog urine, and the place was the most disgusting, smelly, horrible hotel I've ever stayed in. It cost more than a motel but was worse inside. The desk manager, Ricky, was horribly rude and cursed in front of us, including with kids around. I'll never stay at a Days Inn again.

The room was really clean, even by our neat-freak standards. The facility was nice and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was simple, but enough to get the day started, and the price was reasonable.

I've stayed at more than 20 Days Inns around the States, and this one was the best experience by far, my number one. The staff were friendly. Good job!
