The food was really, really good, and the stay wasn't bad overall. But the room door was broken. I reported it, though I never found out whether anyone fixed it. The curtain had come off its track too, so opening and closing it was difficult. I told them about that as well, but nobody came, and I ended up fixing it myself. The operations manager, Stephanie, came across a little snobby at first. After I mentioned her attitude, she seemed much nicer and was helpful, greeting my husband and me whenever she saw us around the hotel.

We were back at this Home 2 Suites for our third stay while our trailer was being repaired, from 10/5 to 10/21. The firepit area was a favorite and I used it a lot. There was plenty of room to relax indoors and out, plus a clean laundry room, a workout room, and a pool that looked nice, though I didn't swim. Coffee and apples were available all day, and breakfast was free each morning, though it could use more variety. The room was clean and stocked when we arrived. It's pet friendly, with smoking areas and pet spots with baggies, and there are all the conveniences you might need nearby. The Hall of Heros Superhero Museum is close, too. The people at the front desk and in housekeeping really made the stay. They were friendly, professional, helpful, and accommodating. Thanks to Adam, Olie, Heather, Haley, Andrea, and Steph for making us comfortable and for being so nice to get to know.

The staff were friendly and professional, and the room was comfortable, clean, and well stocked. We also liked the breakfast, pool, and exercise room. A great stay, and I'd recommend this hotel.

We were tired and hungry after driving across the country, so we stayed even though the price felt like a last-minute penalty. It was 9:30 at night, we had no reservation, and the only option I was offered was a third-floor accessible room with two queen beds for $245. I later checked online and saw rooms averaging around $140 a night. The room was clean, though it seemed like it hadn't been used in a while. I really felt they took advantage of us booking so late.

The breakfast had a big, solid selection, and there was a fitness center and pool. Our request for extra pillows was taken care of. This was our first time at this location; we usually stay at a nearby Hilton, but I'm glad we tried this brand. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. You can see some gentle wear from the property's age, though it's still in good shape overall. It's in North Elkhart near shops and other hotels, and not far from the Tollway exit.
