The rooms were spacious, bright, and extremely comfortable, with a perfect bed, great shower, warm pool, clean gym, and good amenities. The shower pressure was so strong it felt like it could blast a hole in me, though the room wasn’t quite spotless, and the shower seat was covered in what I really hope was old mud. We were here after our house burned to the ground in the middle of winter, and the staff were incredibly rude and made me feel unwelcome during one of the hardest moments of our lives. I didn’t think that alone was a huge deal, but the next morning they told me the hotel was full when I asked to extend one night. Then my husband called pretending to book a room, and they simply asked whether he wanted one or two nights. We were quiet, pleasant at check-in, and didn’t trash the room, so I have no idea why they treated us that way. I guess my money just ain’t no good.

Abby, Rebecca and crew were kind and attentive, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was very convenient, and I’d definitely stay again. When we got to the buffet shortly after 8 AM, the hot breakfast items were nearly gone. Hopefully they replenished them for people still eating before the 10 AM cutoff. The buffet fridge wasn’t working on Sunday, but the staffer on duty helped when we asked for a dairy item.

The hotel and rooms were nice and newly remodeled, but the room cost $30 more than the online price, bringing the total to over $180. We got ready to use the pool only to find it was out of order. They should have told us or offered a discount.

Cleanliness is what I care about most in a hotel, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the room smelled and looked when I walked in. I checked other local hotel reviews, and this Holiday Inn had the best ratings. I’d definitely recommend it.

The room was clean and nice. Water pressure was a bit weak, but it got the job done. Breakfast was the usual kind of items.
