Best Western Elko Inn

The room was clean and quiet, and the staff were pleasant. I’d stay again. Breakfast had a good range of food, including dairy-free milk and gluten-free bread, though the eggs weren’t great quality the day we were there. Maybe they’re better on a busier morning. I appreciated that breakfast runs every day from 5 to 9 a.m., since I often leave for work or travel before breakfast starts elsewhere. The showerhead was high, with plenty of hot water and good pressure, and our first-floor room even had a window that opened.

We planned on one quick night but ended up needing two, and they were very accommodating. The room was nice enough, and the pet area was clean and well maintained. We couldn’t use the gym or pool. Breakfast was decent, with a fresh yogurt machine, hard-boiled eggs, and gluten-free bread, which was a nice surprise. The staff were lovely, and Dottie was incredibly helpful.

Dottie was so kind and welcoming to everyone, and really went out of her way to help. We arrived well before check-in, and at first there weren’t any rooms available. After a long day of travel, it meant a lot that she called me back as soon as rooms opened up. That kind of customer service is rare, and her willingness to go above and beyond made our trip better.

The room was comfortable, breakfast was good and free, and the workers were friendly. There’s also a nice area for dogs. I still like staying here, though I miss how cozy and homey the Christmas decorations used to be. These days there’s only a tree in the lobby.
