Centre Motel

It’s been six years since my last visit, and the place is still meticulously maintained and ultra clean. This retro hotel is a great value for the dollar, which is kind of shocking these days, and it was a pleasure to stay here again. The owners are professional and friendly, clearly take pride in the business, and work hard to satisfy their customers.

We passed through Elko in May 2021 after other places were full, so we took a chance on this older motel. It turned out great: very clean, and there was a very nice man at the counter. My husband still raves about the water pressure in the shower. Vintage, but very clean.

I’ve been staying here for about a year and a half now, and the people are great. Danny is always helpful, and the rates are great. I’ve stayed here every month this year, anywhere from one night to sixteen in a row. It started with a cold bathroom because wind was blowing 6-degree air through the window. The owner brought me an extra heater, which fixed it. I’ll definitely keep coming back.

Danny at the front desk was really friendly and suggested a place for breakfast the next morning. The room was super clean and quiet, with a big, neat bed, TV, shower, and plenty of towels. It also had a microwave, fridge, and tiny freezer that worked well for keeping a few things cold and freezing an ice pack for my lunchbox. A pleasant stay, and I’d come back.
