Holiday Inn Express & Suites Elko by IHG

The staff made the biggest impression during my August stay at this HIEX. Everyone had such a positive, friendly manner, greeted guests coming and going, and went out of their way to help. I travel a lot, and that level of service feels unusual these days. We’re a fire crew and come back tired each evening, so capable, professional staff really helped us decompress. The front desk handled complicated billing and room swaps with ease, and I especially appreciated seeing a team that was essentially all women. Keep it up, ladies. There were a few small inconveniences, but breakfast was on point, the room was serviced daily, and once a week they provided a free dinner with beer, wine, and soda. Kudos to the management and everyone who made that happen.

The showers at Holiday inn express always have lovely water pressure, which is so refreshing. They also put on a soup, salad, and breadsticks buffet several nights a week, I think she said Tuesday and Wednesday, with complimentary beer and wine. The tomato soup and breadsticks were delicious. What a treat!

The amenities were just right for our little family passing through. Everything was very clean and well managed, and every staff member we met was kind and went above and beyond to help. Such a wonderful stay.

Precious at the front desk made check-in fantastic. She was quick, kind, and professional. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. I highly recommend this location.
