The building doors don't lock, so anyone can walk in, and the hallways smell horrible. The blankets were stained, the walls and ceilings were peeling, and everything in the room seemed dirty. There were only two pillows per bed, which wasn't enough for our family. The rooms aren't worth it. Spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

We're both employees of another Choice hotel, and we'll be speaking to Choice Hotels corporate about this room. Room #328 was a dump. The only good thing was the nearby shopping and restaurants. Honestly, you'd be better off at the Hilton next door or under the local bridge with the homeless, which might be cleaner. The room looked like housekeeping had only changed the sheets. It hadn't been vacuumed, and we immediately saw ants and roaches. The couch was stained, the desk had food and drink marks, and the bathroom wasn't properly cleaned. There were only two pillows for a bed shared by two people, and no sheets for the sofa bed. The AC didn't work properly. When I lifted the towels from the bathroom rack, the rack fell off the wall. The room door needed to be forced open and shut because it wouldn't latch right. The halls smelled, and the outside doors marked “locked 24/7” could all be opened and were never locked. The walls needed paint.

The room was filthy, from the counters and floors to the bed. There was hair all over the bathroom and hair and particles in the bed that weren't mine. I paid for a second night but didn't stay, and slept in my car instead. They refused to refund me. The staff were absolutely horrible.

The room and dish package turned into a frustrating mess. I paid a $100 cash deposit for the kitchenette items, but what I got was two plates, two forks, two knives, two spoons, a cutlery holder, and one pot without a lid. There was no toaster, no pans, and none of the dish towels or cloths they had offered. After we finally unpacked and went to bed around 3 a.m., someone was banging on the door at 10:30. The manager said the package had too many items and wanted it back. I handed it to him through the door, shut it, and started packing. Then they hesitated to return the deposit. I had noted on my confirmed reservation that I had service dogs, but was still told I needed to pay for them, even though they are licensed ESA dogs. We also tried to extend our stay the night before, but the storm had taken their systems down. The clerk wrote a note for the manager saying we wanted another night. I saw the note, but the manager claimed he never got it and told us to leave at 10:30 in the morning. The low price wasn't worth the aggravation. I wouldn't recommend this motel if you want a pleasant stay. I also hadn't planned to leave a review until they asked, but now they keep saying there's something wrong with the form when I try to submit this one.
