Rodeway Inn Ardmore I-65

After 16 hours on the road, we needed a last minute stop and checked in around 2 a.m. The night staff were incredibly kind, the beds were comfy, and the room was very clean. Even with the parking lot lights outside, the window shade kept the room dark enough for good sleep. We didn’t bring pets this trip, but $25 per pet seemed very reasonable.

We had trouble with one of our vehicles on the way from Nashville to Pensacola, and the owner let us leave it there instead of having it towed. He was a great guy, and the service was wonderful. The rooms were clean and very affordable. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Charlie at the front desk, who I believe is also the owner, went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable on Christmas Eve. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean the room was, and the well-lit parking lot was a nice bonus. We’ll use this as a stop on future trips.

We stayed in room 126 after checking in on 2/22. First we were quoted one price, then, when the card we’d planned to use was locked and we paid with another card instead, we were told a different price. The room smelled like someone had pooped in it, so we went to a gas station for air freshener. The tub wouldn’t drain, and the toilet wouldn’t flush and leaked at the base when we tried. One blanket had cigarette burn holes, even though we were in a non-smoking room. At checkout I told the clerk what had happened and asked for at least half our money back. They refused and said we should have called the front desk, even though it was the middle of the night. We chose this place because the reviews looked good, but I don’t understand those reviews. I wouldn’t recommend it and won’t be back.
