Sleep Inn & Suites Riverfront

The front desk staff were friendly, and the price was very affordable. We were in room 101, which was in decent shape. The hotel needs a remodel, though it was very clean, which matters most to me. Our room was next to the ice machine and an exit, and as a light sleeper I got woken up. That was the only thing that really bothered me. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay.

The family enjoyed the fresh-baked cookies and quick breakfast choices, and the little pool area was peaceful and well kept. Our beds were really comfortable, so we all slept well during our stay. It was clean, quiet, convenient, and affordable, and I liked the location. The staff were great, too. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and stay again.

Check-in was easy, and the woman helping us then was very nice. The hotel wasn’t too noisy, but our room smelled a bit musty. Breakfast was standard and nothing special; the hard-boiled eggs looked like they’d been sitting there for days. At checkout, the front desk woman wasn’t friendly and seemed more interested in talking to another employee. I probably wouldn’t stay again.

There’s a restaurant about a 5-10 minute walk away with decent food and a nice river view, and the hotel has a pleasant smoking area by the river. The place was clean and felt safe for the price, with no bug issues, a comfortable bed, and a quiet room. The pool stays open until 10pm. Breakfast runs from 6am-10am and is basic stuff like cereal, fruit, and toast. I couldn’t drink the coffee, but I like mine dark and thick, like asphalt. I’d recommend this if you’re mainly looking for somewhere to relax and sleep. If you want a posh place with lots to do, this isn’t it, but it does the main hotel job just fine.
