We ended the evening at the underground saloon, having a drink with the lights off for a while while some ghost hunters were around. The tunnels tour was such a cool step back in time, and really informative. I took my mom for her birthday and booked the grandma room for her, which she loved. It was very clean and exactly her style. We stayed in the rock n roll room, which had everything we needed. The underground tunnels and wolf hotel sounded like a fun change of pace, and we had an excellent weekend.

The room was clean, quiet, and bug-free, and there was a shared kitchen and lounge area. Paul showed me around, and I got a real sense of the place's history. The town seems to have more to explore, too. I stayed in the wedding room on 11-21-25, and the creepy atmosphere was definitely there. I think I even spotted twins and a kid on a tricycle in the hallway. Aside from bells ringing at random, it was a pretty cool stay. The room isn't cheap, but I guess the history makes the $110 plus taxes and tip feel okay. This place definitely beats the options in Great Bend.

We had such a wonderful time here, I can't put it into words. If history and a chance to relax sound good, this is the place. The rooms are BEAUTIFUL, and the service was unsurpassed. We wanted to get away from everyday life and all its demands, and this gave us that break. Seriously, get the suite. You'd regret not bringing your woman here.

The filet was cooked just right and tasted superb. We booked the Valentine's Day dinner, and both the service and food were excellent. The lobby and dining room also looked lovely for the event.

Amanda made our stay feel wonderful. She was incredibly helpful and welcoming, and her history and paranormal tours are well worth taking. We spent two nights in the Wedding Room, and it really felt like traveling back in time. The hotel and town made a great setting for a different kind of weekend away. We also enjoyed chatting with other guests and Chris the proprietor in the clean, comfortable kitchen and parlor.
