Kate Stanton Inn

Liz and Carole made us feel cared for from the moment we arrived, with thoughtful little details throughout. When they heard one of us was from london, they even had double-decker salt and pepper shakers. The place was spotless and beautifully kept, and they were sharp, funny, and welcoming hosts. Their warm, hysterical conversations were a highlight, and we felt at home from start to finish, truly hosted like family. This BnB is a gem. We can't wait to come back soon.

We were lucky to get the beautiful Chatham suite, with ocean views, a fireplace, and wonderful breezes. Liz and Carol are gracious hosts who have thought of every detail, taking care to make sure visitors have the best stay. Breakfast was delicious, and even the afternoon glass of wine was served with care. The location worked perfectly for us, with short drives of 5-15 minutes to Cardiff by the Sea, Carlsbad, downtown Encinitas, and plenty of great dining. We had an incredible stay and will most certainly be back.

Liz and Carol have thought of everything at Kate Stanton Inn. We stayed in the restful, beautiful Chatham Suite, with fans, extra pillows, a spacious bathroom, a huge picture window with an incredible view, and two balconies. The breakfast was cooked to the time we requested, and getting to Del Mar was a quick, easy drive. What an amazing B&B, it deserves more than five stars!

We stayed five days and really didn't want to leave. The whole house was gorgeous, and our charming room had its own little courtyard. The breakfasts were delicious, and Carol and Lizzie were the best hosts we've ever had. We had the most wonderful experience on our west coast trip from the east coast.
