After the manager turned down my reservation, saying there were always plenty of rooms and I didn't need to reserve with a credit card, I arrived to find no king rooms and no record of my call. They offered me two queens, which really annoyed me. I then looked at 11 rooms before finding one I could accept. The carpet was badly stained, the smells were awful, and it seemed like nothing had ever been maintained. It was bad. I don't recommend this place.
The bed, sheets, and bathroom were clean, which is what I cared about. The rugs were worn and stained, though that seems about right for an older roadside motel. Decent for the price.
The new management has really turned this place around compared with the old Motel 6 here. The rooms are clean, the service is great, and everyone is welcoming.
It's a very nice place to stay now that there's new management. Thanks so much from Mr. Vaughn and family.
Just horrible.
