Quality Inn Dayton Airport

The convenient part is the location, just off I 70 and Main Street in Englewood Ohio, and within reach of the Rt 70, Rt 75, Englewood, Huber Height, and Dayton areas. That’s where the good points end. Check-in took nearly 15 minutes while the receptionist searched for our reservation and room keys. The entrance looks nice and matches the website, but the other photos are misleading. The hall carpet was dirty and smelled strongly of carpet cleaner. Our room was dark, heavily used, and musty, unlike the bright, clean photos online. After being out, the smell hit us again as soon as we walked back in. The bathroom floor and tub were dirty, the tub was chipped and stained, and the bathroom fan didn’t work and had no switch. The bathroom and room both looked much darker than the website pictures. The curtains and window in the other photos also showed how poorly the rooms are maintained. Breakfast was far below what I’d expect from a Quality Inn. There was barely any food, one warmer was broken so there was no meat, and the small pan of eggs was almost empty. There were a couple of pieces of bread and no pastries. We went to a local restaurant instead of dealing with what felt like an obvious lack of care for customer satisfaction. If you only need somewhere to sleep and don’t care about cleanliness or service, or it’s 3:00 in the morning and the only place left, it’ll do. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

This was an absolutely horrible stay. The carpets were stained, the walls were dirty, and water damage on the bathroom walls and ceiling had been painted over, then started peeling. The toilet seat was peeling too, and the coffee maker was broken. The front entrance door and elevator were out of service, and none of the vending machines worked. There was more, and I should have checked out.

Debbie was so polite and found me a room at a great rate. The staff are kind and professional, and the rooms were comfortable and felt safe, with everything needed for a good rest. This Quality Inn is well located for Rt 70 and Rt 75, and the Englewood, Huber Height, and Dayton areas. Thank you, and God bless!

I really love the customer service. She’s always smiling, and honestly, she has the best hair in the world. Even when she sees funny things, she never says anything negative.
