La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Littleton/Red Rocks

The front desk woman was really helpful and let me change rooms so I could get a bathtub. The bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve slept in for years, and there’s coffee and tea available all day and night. The fitness room is well equipped too. It’s a lovely new hotel just off 470, far enough from the road that you don’t hear traffic. The doors slam loudly, but leaving the fan running all night made it fine. I’ll absolutely be back!

We’ve been on a two-week cross-country road trip, and this is easily the best hotel we’ve stayed at. The staff were wonderful, especially Yesenia, and helped fix my mistake when I showed up having booked the wrong dates. They were very accommodating and changed the reservation. The rooms are modern, clean, quiet, and have comfortable beds. It’s very dog-friendly at only $25 a night, and they actually offer recycling, unlike most hotels. Can’t recommend it enough. Ten stars!

We came to Colorado for the first time to see a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and the hotel was a great base, about 10 minutes away. The front desk staff were so nice and helpful with check-in and checkout, directions, and suggestions for places to eat. Our room was clean, and when we noticed the toilet seat was loose, a maintenance worker we spotted in the hall came over and fixed it right away. Breakfast was great too. Q, who worked there, was especially nice. He kept the food and coffee filled and answered our questions about the area, with good tips on attractions to visit. We’d stay here again when we come back for another concert. Red Rocks is the best concert venue we’ve ever been to.

The location is really convenient, but the hotel is dirty. The cleaning crew does a spotty job when they show up. It’s great that La Quinta allows dogs, but they need to vacuum every day. The carpet in my room had a gross amount of hair on it. I also got stuck twice in the same elevator. Apparently this isn’t a new problem at this location.
