Motel 6 Ennis, TX

I’ve been renting room 110 for the last month and a half, and I’m in your records. The managers are unbelievably rude. When I ask the woman a question or ask why the price is so high, she talks down to me and says I can leave instead of explaining the charge. When I say I’ll call corporate, she tells me to leave now. She has threatened and intimidated us to stop us from complaining and leaving bad ratings. Her manager even had to tell her to stop speaking to me that way. I have videos of how disrespectful she is, and she treats everyone like they’re beneath her. I’m trying to stay here with my paralyzed, handicapped wife, and she has made my wife feel like she no longer has a safe place to live. My wife is going back to the nursing home because of what this woman has said and done to our family. Motel 6 has caused my handicapped wife to have to go to the hospital. This location doesn’t deserve a Motel 6 sign. Someone from corporate needs to contact me.

Our stay was uncomfortable because the room lacked furniture and the AC didn’t seem to monitor humidity. The bath towels were the kind used at a pool, with blue stripes. Staff also need to improve their customer service, they lacked smiles and personality.

It was quiet, check in and check out were easy, and parking was well lit. The rooms are spacious, with cold AC, reliably hot water, a decent sized TV with movie channels, and beds that were somewhat comfortable. It’s budget friendly, too. But there were just two small pillows per bed and only one large towel for four people. No in room microwave or coffee maker either. There’s only one entrance and exit, so getting back from the highway means making a loop.

Getting there takes a slightly awkward drive, but I thought it was worth it. Even right by the freeway, the noise didn’t bother me the way it has at some other hotels. I especially liked the garden they planted in the available space. It adds a nice touch.
