Penn Harris Hotel Harrisburg, Trademark by Wyndham

We chose this place mainly for its shuttle to the convention center. The rooms were clean and a good size, the decor was fine, and the slightly small bathroom did the job. Staff and shuttle service were stellar. Molly, the bartender, was a gem. The restaurant was terrible, though. The food was like prison food, and the burger was only somewhat edible. I'd recommend staying if you're fine going elsewhere for dinner. If you want to eat in, avoid it.

The hotel seems to have been redone recently, and everything felt comfortable with plenty of amenities. The toiletries were good quality, and I was very impressed with them. My room was clean, and the front desk staff were super friendly and efficient. Thank you!

The breakfast isn't available every day, and I was overcharged for it. My room was cleaned only once in six days, so I had to take out my own trash and track down housekeeping for fresh towels. After they apparently read my review, someone called at 10 p.m. to ask if I wanted the room cleaned. Just ignorant.

I came for a birthday party, and the food took over three hours to arrive. My order was wrong. They took it back to the kitchen but never offered to remake it, and we still had to pay even though the mistake was theirs. Because of the size of our party, we were told we had to pay cash, and that if we didn't, they would charge the card on file. Very poor customer service. I wouldn't set foot in this place again.
