What made the longer stay work well was how flexible the hotel was when my plans changed. I first booked for a month, then stayed longer because my command wouldn’t let me into the barracks. When I later needed to deploy, they adjusted my booking dates and payment conveniently. The price was very good too. I ended up staying a couple of months. The reception guy was always nice and helpful, and accommodated most of my requests. The place is clean and cozy, and my room was much bigger than rooms at other nearby places where I’d stayed.

The staff were kind and answered my questions, and the waffles, biscuits and gravy, cereal, coffee, and juice were good. I needed a room so I could attend a conference, and I’m glad I had somewhere to stay. I don’t mean this out of hate, just want to let people know the overall cleanliness wasn’t good. The hotel could use an update, though at that cheap price it was about what I expected. They sprayed water on the outside of the building, and it got under the door and onto the carpet. That made me nervous. 🙏🏼

The staff helped when we asked for extra towels and for missing breakfast items, which I appreciated. Still, the bathroom wasn’t very clean and breakfast wasn’t great. This is a private motel now, not a Super 8, so anyone expecting typical Super 8 standards will be disappointed.

We’d definitely come back for a quick, affordable stay. The rooms were more put together than we expected for a motel, and the staff were terrific: understanding and helpful whenever we ran into a problem. The amenities and cleanliness weren’t at a 5-Star hotel level, but that wasn’t what we were looking for.

For $40 a night, expecting Belgian waffles seems ungrateful. There wasn’t a huge breakfast selection, just a lightly stocked continental breakfast, but I’ve paid twice as much for a room without breakfast. The room was surprisingly clean and the staff friendly, and the price was super cheap. I think the bad ratings I’ve seen are unfair. You get a lot more than you pay for here, so I’m giving it 5 stars for value.
