Candlewood Suites Enterprise S, An Ihg Hotel

The room was filthy when I arrived. There was hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor, shoe prints on that floor, soap scum all over the shower walls, and white stains all over the desk chair. An empty Coke bottle with soda residue was at the foot of the bed, and there was a tack and other debris on the floor. Behind the TV stand was disgusting garbage, so I pushed it against the wall to keep my dog from getting back there and eating it. My socks don’t deserve to walk on a floor like that. I saw no sign they’d cleaned the shower walls or even properly cleaned the room. Management seems completely absent, and the place doesn’t seem to care. I doubt I’ll hear anything about my complaints. Even by Alabama standards this was subpar and disgusting, with no excuse for it. I’d have been better off in a tent. It’s a hotel fail that can’t be fixed. Then I saw the review options were things like “romantic, friendly, quiet, luxury.” How about disgusting and unacceptable? I want a refund. I’d demand one if it were my bill. And oddly, the reviews I saw were all months old, with nothing recent or good. Hmmm.

For a last-minute two-night booking, this worked out really well. The two-queen suite had plenty of space for two adults and our two kids, and the room was clean. Free coffee was a nice bonus. The price was fair, and I’d stay again.

We barely slept because it was loud all night. There were odd stains on the walls, and a big spider was hiding on a towel. Our booking said checkout was at 12, and nobody told us otherwise. While I was showering, two different people banged on the door and said checkout was at 11. The person at the desk said they were trying to get Expedia to change the listing, but it still hasn’t been changed. This place sucks, lol.

Mrs. Carol, the executive manager at Candlewood Suites in Enterprise, Alabama, made my three-night visit comfortable. She was kind, attentive, and accommodating whenever I needed something. The room was clean and quiet, and the atmosphere felt peaceful. The front desk team was courteous and helpful as well. I’d highly recommend this location to anyone visiting Enterprise.
