Hampton Inn Enterprise

The staff were the best part. Everyone was smiling, friendly, and helpful, no matter the hour. I've stayed here a few times, and this was my best visit yet. My king bed was comfortable, though the four pillows were small and squishy, so bring your own if you like a firm one. The AC gets very cold, which is nice if you like to bundle up. There's a mini fridge and a low-watt microwave, so frozen food takes longer than the directions say. The updated rooms have crisp decor, a walk-in shower, and even a bit of bounce in the carpet. I enjoyed the continental breakfast each of my four mornings: scrambled eggs daily, sausage patties one day and very good chicken sausage links on the others. Three mornings had potatoes with peppers and onions, and the last had Yukon gold potatoes. There were breads, cereal, waffles, yogurt, three juices, and coffee too. I'd recommend staying here if you're in the area.

The sleeper sofa was thin and uncomfortable, and I'm only 150 pounds. Breakfast was just carbs, with no eggs, terrible sausage, and bagels that seemed a day or two old. They'd even run out of waffle batter for the waffle station. This is average at best, Hampton Inn needs to get its act together. I'll stay somewhere else next time.

I travel often for work and personal trips, and this was the worst night I've had at a Hilton. Noisy neighbors kept me awake all night with loud TV and what sounded like video games. I contacted the front desk, but all they did was apologize. They said they were trying to address it, but the noise never changed, and they offered no points or other help. The staff and other guests didn't seem to care about basic respect or whether people could sleep. I don't recommend this place.

I was woken at 5:30 a.m. by noise from neighbors and other guests, so I only got some sleep. The room also felt congested and stuffy, even with the AC running. It was a decent enough hotel otherwise. My client paid for this business trip, so at least it didn't cost me anything.
