Holiday Inn Express Enterprise

Tiffany made checkout a lot of fun this morning. Her humor and personality had my wife and me laughing, and it was great to see someone with that much energy so early. The breakfast was delicious, and my wife enjoyed our stay.

Our reservation had a problem involving USAA and a third-party provider, and Liz at the front desk worked through it with us. She listened patiently, explained things clearly, and stayed with the issue until it was resolved. Her helpfulness made a stressful situation much easier. She was amazing and gave us outstanding customer service.

The room was fairly clean, but our sofa bed had no spare sheets or pillow. The air never came on, even though we set it to 67, and by morning the room was nearly 80. The front desk said someone would come check it, but nobody showed up. The walls are paper thin too. We could hear footsteps overhead and conversations in adjoining rooms and the hallway. We were on our way to Panama and planned to leave after work, so I called ahead because we knew we'd arrive late. The woman who answered said we'd be charged for another night if we weren't there by 1 a.m. After going in circles about what we could do, she said I could call after midnight and have the desk attendant check us in. When I asked if we could do that right then, she said yes, but she'd thought I might not want to. Why hadn't she offered that option first? I was irritated and felt she didn't really want to help. The stay would be much better if the front desk staff were better.

Thomasena Jones was so accommodating and gave outstanding service. The staff were amazing, and Ms. Judy, the cook, made delicious food and kept everything stocked. I'd recommend it 10 out of 10.
