Bay Breeze Resort

The shower was fantastic, and the bathroom looked nicely updated. We booked a water view room, though the view was only visible from one spot inside, plus the table reserved for us on the deck. With temperatures in the 30’s to 50’s, we didn’t get much use out of the deck. The bed, unfortunately, was as hard as the floor.

The flowers around the pool and outside the rooms are beautiful. And having the Confectionery right next door is hard to beat. This is our favorite place to stay in Door County!

That private beach is my favorite part, with smooth sand and easy access just across the street. I’ve been coming here with my family for several years, and we always have a good time. The friendly, accommodating staff and well-kept pool add to it, and the pool stays open late enough that there's something to do after other places close. My one gripe is that people who aren't staying at the hotel sometimes come for the sunset and take the chairs, since there's no fence. I understand that's outside the hotel's hands. Still my favorite place to stay in door county.

We got a partial bay view, and it was lovely. Check-in went smoothly, and the room was clean and really nice. We were there for the Door County half marathon, before “peak season,” so the price was very reasonable. The mattress felt old and was hard and uncomfortable. I’d probably stay again anyway.
