Willow Creek Inn

We were in town for a July wedding and didn’t get a chance to go down the canyon to Nephi, though I wish we had. The place felt very old and a bit run down, and it seemed to be about the only option in Ephraim. There wasn’t a real swimming pool, just a tiny jacuzzi. The showers and beds were tiny, and the pillows felt more like throw pillows for a couch. I didn’t sleep well at all.

The employees were exceptional. The cleaning staff were kind, the front desk apologized, and the woman handling breakfast was a gem. Still, the stay was rough. I was sent to a room that only takes a physical key, but I’d been given two key cards. My friend got keys to a room that was already occupied. The hotel is being remodeled, which I’ll take into account. The floor was lumpy, and the fridge leaked water onto the floor overnight because it was plugged into a series of surge bars. Ephraim only has this hotel option for now, though the new hotel will really test it once it’s finished. My name is on the guest list, whatever the response may suggest.

We walked into a room with one bed used and unmade, towels on the floor, and pizza and food boxes on the desk. The front desk employee was very kind and apologetic, and rushed to clean it at 1 a.m. with my wife helping. The room also seemed not to have had a deep clean in a very long time. At checkout, they offered only a 10% discount on the first night. We look forward to staying at the Cobblestone Hotel & Suites in the future.

Our family stayed here for a wedding, and we’re very grateful we chose this place. The rooms were clean and breakfast was awesome. The staff accommodated our whole family, helped us get ready for the next day’s events, and pitched in when wedding plans changed. We really appreciated their help.
