Parking was plentiful and the location worked well. Breakfast tasted good, though the creamers seemed bad and the sugar hadn't been replenished. There was no housekeeping during our stay, so we didn't get fresh towels. Check-in was straightforward, but we didn't see anyone except the woman who prepared breakfast; they gave us a phone number and responded quickly when contacted. We stayed in the Garden Room for the first time. It was charming and clean, though the bathroom felt cramped, especially the tiny shower. The water took a while to warm up, and a safety bar would have been helpful. The old-house floors were very noisy. The bed was a good size but uncomfortable, and the sink drained very slowly.

The historic Inn has plenty of character, and I felt safe taking a walk around town early in the morning. I was worried that breakfast wouldn't be available until 09:00, since I'm an early riser, but they had cookies and oatmeal ready. My room also had a refrigerator, so I could keep yogurt there. Breakfast itself was delicious. I only stayed one night, in Le Boudoir, but I plan to come back. The room was quiet, the bed comfortable, and I enjoyed unwinding in the jacuzzi tub. Next time I'd like to try a cottage, and eventually see the other rooms too. It was a lovely stay.

The Garden Window room was adorable, with really cute decor. We found self check-in simple, got our key, and signed up for breakfast during our stay. Breakfast came at 9:00, with no choice of time. The food wasn't as elaborate as at some other B&Bs we've visited, but it suited the price well. Each morning we had juice, coffee, fresh fruit, and a prepared dish. We also liked how close the inn was to the small towns nearby. There was something interesting to see in any direction. The patio looks like it would be lovely in good weather, and having a brewery on the property was a bonus. We enjoyed our stay and would return. Cute little B&B 🫶

The hot tub was one of the few parts we enjoyed, but even there, the outlet area needed descaling and I put my hand into a spider web when I stretched behind me. That wasn't the romantic getaway my wife and I had hoped for. We had trouble relaxing from the start: the Americana room, I think that's what it was called, smelled very dusty and dirty, and webs and spiders were all over, including two spiders on the bed and webs by the jacuzzi, bed, couch, and bathroom. We couldn't turn on the lights at first and had to call someone to reset things. The small fridge was off, with a puddle of water inside, and the coffee maker didn't work either. After the breaker was reset and cool air started coming through, we went to get food. The burgers were nothing special. We paid an extra $4 each for salad, but got a handful of spring mix and croutons in a soup crock, which hardly seemed worth it. We brought wine, so didn't order drinks, though the beer prices seemed in line with the market. The living room couch was so small that sitting next to each other meant sitting very upright, with no room to lounge. The bed was badly dented on one side and very uncomfortable, and the sheets weren't comfortable either. Sleeping there left me in pain, and my wife was in pain too. It seemed to us that the place wasn't being maintained or prepared for guests. There was dust under the bed, with sheets sitting in it, and the coffee basket had just one K-cup, one tea bag, two creamers, and two sugar substitutes. That, along with the webs, made it feel like nobody had cleaned or readied the room before us. Breakfast, at least, was pretty good, and check-in was easy. We left early and gave the key to my aunt, who was appalled by what she saw. We felt bad leaving before the time she'd paid for, but the room was simply too uncomfortable. She tried calling someone five times and couldn't reach anyone. I would definitely not recommend this place.

We were hoping for a quiet, relaxing break, and that's what we got. I asked for an early check-in and they granted it without any trouble. My husband especially enjoyed the jacuzzi in the primitive place room. The next morning's breakfast was excellent: fresh fruit, a few mini muffins, and a soufflé with egg, bacon, and sundried tomato. My husband and I really enjoyed our short getaway at this lovely inn.
