Tree Top Bed & Breakfast

We were delighted with the house for our first in-person get-together since COVID: three siblings, some spouses, and seven kids under 13. Bonnie was a wonderful hostess, and we had a great time using the pool, deck, trampoline, spacious shared rooms, and porch. The games cupboard and pool toys were fantastic, and we felt welcome. She lives onsite, but we barely knew she was there. She respected our privacy, and we only needed to contact her about the AC timer, since you have to check with her if you want it off. When we asked for a walkthrough, the rental and cleaning deposits were returned quickly.

Bonnie is amazing! She took me and my boy in during the middle of the night and was incredibly welcoming. I’d definitely recommend her place if you’re in town for Spooky Nook.

The room we asked for was just right, tastefully decorated, and well stocked. Breakfast was top notch and pretty much customized, and the woodsy setting made a restful night feel inevitable. Guests can use all the main-floor common rooms, including a stellar sunroom. Bonnie was dealing with a heavy workload but still responded quickly and provided all the information we needed.

We’re planning to come back! It’s a beautiful, spacious, comfortable house with wonderful grounds, and it’s handy for visiting attractions in Reading and Lancaster. Such a lovely place to relax and unplug.
