The staff were pleasant and accommodating, and they made the stay tolerable. The place itself is old, badly worn, and outdated. There's a faux fireplace about 15 feet from the entrance, which seems a silly place to sit in February. The location is oddly navigated, though right off the interstate. The room had a stale feel, uncomfortable dated beds, and one very uncomfortable chair. A desk-style table sits right by the heating and air unit, so hot or cold air blows straight at you. Two rolling cubes seem meant as extra seats, but they're only about 14 inches off the floor. The bedding wasn't pleasant either. All those little pillows may look trendy, but trying to arrange them all night was really irritating. Please provide grownup-sized pillows. The bathroom doesn't seem designed for practical use. The counter is too high, the hair dryer and toilet paper storage is awkward, and the bath linens are kept above the counter, away from the shower or tub. The toilet sits very low, like something from a kindergarten bathroom, and has a cheap seat with sharp edges. There's a bar of facial soap and pump bottles of shampoo and lotion, but they're set too high to press easily. In a two-bed room, there were only one and a half rolls of toilet paper.

The staff were super friendly, and breakfast was good even at 9 am, apart from the mystery meat that looked like diagonally cut hot dogs and the crunchy potatoes. The hotel was very clean, just as the reviews led me to expect. The decor could use an update, but I can overlook that for cleanliness. I also appreciated that the owner took time to reply to written reviews. Highway noise was loud. It put me to sleep, but kept my husband awake half the night, though he'd still come back. A regular room was a bit pricey.

The pool area had such a relaxing feel, and the property was beautiful and very clean. Check-in went smoothly. When I went for breakfast, the station had run out of food, but the attendant was accommodating and the front desk staff were helpful too. I've stayed at many Hilton properties and Hampton Inns, and this one is truly top-notch. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, making me feel at home. I'd definitely recommend it.

The staff were very friendly, and the free breakfast was one of the better hotel breakfasts I've had. The place does its job, and for the price it works. Still, it needs a refresh and looks worn out. My room smelled bad and faced the highway, about 100 yards away. Traffic sounded like it could drive right through the room, so good luck sleeping.

There was a big pool, and the hotel was really clean. I slept great and was impressed by breakfast, with tons of options. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm back in Erie.
