Econo Lodge Erlanger - Cincinnati Airport

After getting off work at 6:30 a.m., I found they had a vacancy and they let me check right in. I liked that smoking rooms were available. The room was mostly clean and bug free, and the staff were really friendly. It's all ground level, so I could park right outside my door. The price was good too.

Tucked away and quiet, this little hotel was comfortable. The price was reasonable, and the service was exceptional. I'd recommend it to anyone.

There were dead bugs of all kinds in the drawers, including the sort you really don't want to bring home. The place also had critters around, free of charge, apparently. They don't provide trash liners, and asking for them got me an evil eye from the managers. The people were extremely rude, rooms didn't seem to get cleaned, and asking for fresh linens was no use. The credit card exchange seemed super shady too. Nothing happened, but I put a stop on that account right after the exchange. I found out too late how bad the place was. Just don't go.

It was cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for. I could bring my dog, and it was quiet, with no bed bugs that I saw. The towels were clean, and the sheets seemed clean too, though I don't use the top covers. But I had to wipe out the fridge, clear garbage wrappers and ramen cups from the dresser drawers, and use half a lint roller to pick debris off the carpet, including what I think were fingernails. I also fixed the towel rack and loose toilet seat.
