The room was simple, quiet, and clearly looked after. This small motel was spotless, well organized, and comfortable, making the stay relaxing and much better than I expected. Its cleanliness and overall experience beat many larger chains we’ve stayed at, including Radisson, Marriott, Choice, and Best Western. Sometimes smaller places do it better. A dependable, peaceful spot if you want a clean stay.

We found it easy to bring our dog, which was a big plus for our short getaway from Denver. The room had everything we needed and felt comfortable and safe. The location is beautiful, and I’d happily recommend the place.

The walkout room was our favorite part. With our 2 German Shepherds, we could back right up to the door and unload easily. The place was clean and updated, and the front desk was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the letdown: we showed up at 8:30am and it was all gone, and there wasn’t any sugar substitute for the coffee. We went into town and ate at Starbucks instead, where an elk came to peer in at us, which was awesome. So it wasn’t a big deal. Otherwise, a stellar stay, and we’ll be back when we’re in town.

I’d stay here again if I’m ever back. The private deck had a great view, and the room was comfy. Watching the elk wander around was amazing, and you could hear them calling all night. I had to keep an eye out for a momma and baby near my rental. Sorry if the videos have no sound, but trust me, the elk were calling through the night. It was nice listening to them.

The room was decent and the bathroom clean, but the shower curtain was too short, so the floor got really wet after a shower. The bigger issue was noise from upstairs or the neighbors. People get up at 4am to reach the National Park, and you’ll wake up with them.
