I was unsure about booking because there weren’t many photos, but the place turned out perfect. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and our little outdoor patio, the chairs by the creek, picnic tables, and grilling area made it easy to relax. The owners were especially pleasant and accommodating. We’ll definitely stay again.

I could have stayed longer. Estes Park is charming on its own, and my time at Riverview made the trip even better. My room had plenty of space for a family, and the hot shower, working TV, microwave, and fridge were all handy. From the patio I could hear the rushing water, or walk about 7 yards and sit right beside it. Elk wandered through the area, parking was easy, and town and the Rocky’s were both nearby.

We came back in June after staying here off and on for about seven years. We’ve always liked the setting, the wildlife, fishing just outside the patio door, being near downtown and the Fall river entrance, and especially the sound of the Fall River. When I called to book, I learned the property had new owners and some things had changed. I braced myself, but there wasn’t much that affected us: no recliners in the room, which was fine since we sit outside or are in bed; fishing is catch and release, which I already practice; and no smoking, which doesn’t matter to us. The rooms have been updated and redecorated, the landscaping is nice, and there’s a great new grill station with several newer stainless steel grills, utensils, and solar lights for nighttime. The whole place was neat and very clean. The woman in the office was super friendly, and I met the new owner, Cherokee, while checking out and told him how happy we were. This is a case where the changes worked out well. Great place to stay, and they’ve done a good job.

Elk walked through the complex each day, and we had a great view of the river or creek from the sliding doors, with a deck table and chair outside. The parking felt secure, and for Estes Park the rate was very affordable. I travel about 150 nights a year and usually stay with large motel chains, primarily IEH and Hamptons, but I found this place excellent. My wife and I had a clean room in a building with four or five rooms on each of two levels. Ours had two queen beds, a fridge, microwave, table and chairs, and a TV. The bathroom was clean and the hot water was great. There were two grills and picnic tables available too. I’ll check here first next time I’m back in Estes Park. Thanks for a great stay.

We drove from Wichita Kansas for a weekend away, and the price and location were what first drew us in. Our arrival was very late, around 3am, but they made check-in simple: we got instructions electronically, including how to get our keys, our room details, and a map. Checking out was just as easy. The room was spacious and super clean, the views were breathtaking, and the location was convenient. We had a wonderful stay and will be back next year.
