Riverwood on Fall River

If you book a jacuzzi tub, don't expect it to get more than halfway full before the water turns cold.

We stayed during a storm that brought almost 20 inches of snow in one day, and the place looked absolutely gorgeous. The rooms were very clean, parking was free, and the staff were pretty friendly. Rocky Mountain National Park is close, with downtown and gear rental shops also within driving range. Bring mineral water if that's your preference.

The management has been great, and the location is wonderful. We’ve stayed here several times over the years, and I’d come back to the lodge, just not room 7. The carpet is new and the place is tastefully decorated, but the bed and living room loveseats need replacing. The beds are better than the loveseats, though sitting down you can feel the wood frame. My wife and I hike mountains like Flat Top, and after sleeping in either bed we felt more sore and uncomfortable. I know costs are high as a business owner, but people are spending hard-earned money and deserve a good experience. I’m sorry for the negative review, but this seems like an issue the owners could fix easily.

We had everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch, or dinner, if we wanted to. The condo was spacious and very clean, with a lovely view of the river. We spent the evenings sitting beside it. A small issue came up and was sorted out very quickly. The accommodations were great, and we’d stay again and recommend giving the place a try.
