Triple R Cottages: 2 1 Bedroom Cabin

We’re back for our third year in this charming little cabin, and we like it more each time. It’s peaceful, clean, cozy, and full of character, and we feel at home as soon as we walk in. Everything is well cared for and thoughtfully stocked. The location is just right for relaxing and unplugging. It’s become a special tradition, and we’re already looking forward to next year.

Cabin #4 is really tiny, but it was okay for two people and a dog, and would suit a solo traveler well. The cabins are quite old, so little problems are to be expected; in our case the bathroom door wouldn’t latch, lol. We paid about 560 for four nights, which felt a bit steep for such a small space. There was a fridge, coffee and a coffee maker, plates, utensils, and even a stove. A decent little stay overall.

It was dated but clean, and I’d stay again and recommend it. The price was decent, with an outdoor grill, outdoor seating, plenty of parking, a quiet setting, and a location close to town. Check-in and checkout were easy, and supplies like coffee and makeup remover were provided. There wasn’t a fire pit, likely because of the burn ban or county restrictions.

From our front porch we had a pretty view and saw lots of elk. The place was peaceful and easy, stocked with what we needed. The man watering the hanging flowers even brought us our bundle of wood. He was so nice. We were far enough from the bustle of Estes and close to the park entrance. We walked across the road to get ice cream at the little store.
