The room was the highlight: cozy, functional, very clean, with great beds and a fireplace that made it feel warm and inviting. The price was great too, and with an Ebike we could get downtown in just a few minutes. The lake is nearby. Everything is coded, so there’s no one to greet you. The hot tub was small and underfilled, and it was firmly locked down by 9pm. Would I stay again? Absolutely.

Some of my cousins stayed in the cabins and really liked them. I stayed in one of the lodge rooms, and it was lovely. We held our family reunion in the gathering room at the solitude cabins, which was just right for us: a beautiful space, a nice kitchen, and staff willing to go the extra mile. I couldn’t recommend solitude enough.

It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and everything matched the description. The location was great, a little away from downtown but still only a few minutes away. We had a great time, felt it was worth the price, and would definitely stay again.

We were lucky to find a last-minute booking after a disappointing reservation at a cabin elsewhere. Our cabin was clean, well equipped, and comfortable. The property was well kept, and the cabins are spaced out enough to feel quiet, each with its own patio, outdoor furniture, and grill. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It’s close to town but still peaceful, which made for a great stay.

The place was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and well managed. There’s a guest book in each cabin and a binder full of useful notes about wildlife, park and cabin rules, checkout, and even cooking at higher elevations. The staff gave us helpful tips on things to do and explained that Rocky Mountain national park needs time reservations made online, including which passes were best. That saved us, since we needed to get in for our friends’ wedding. They also helped when we had an issue in the cabin, and replaced the burnt-out refrigerator bulb as soon as they could. We left notes about a couple of other things, including one burnt-out sconce out of four, though it wasn’t a problem for us. We drove through the night from our home town just south of Lincoln Nebraska for the wedding, after a death in the family had left us unsure whether we could go. We hadn’t booked anywhere, and nearly everything was full. After we left a message after hours, a wonderful woman named Kay, I believe, called as soon as the office opened and managed to book us in and check us in two hours early. We were exhausted, so that was a huge relief. Our cabin was clean and cozy, tastefully decorated, and had a well equipped kitchen with all the utensils and cookware we needed. We grilled and ate on the beautiful deck. The beds were comfortable. The cabins are close to each other, but their layout preserves lovely deck views, and they’re so well kept and beautifully built that they add to the scenery. It was quiet, there was ample parking, and we didn’t mind having neighbors. The location is just outside Estes park, and getting around on the main roads was quicker since we could avoid the in-town stop lights. If we make it back to Estes Park, I’d happily stay again. One bonus, if you’re staying with just your significant other and they snore, there’s another king bedroom to send them to.
