My father was a WW2 Veteran and passed away before the birthday party we’d planned for him in Eugene. My best friend had booked this hotel for the party, which had to be canceled, but the hotel is still refusing to refund her. The online listing said reservations included free cancelation, yet somehow hers was made non refundable. That feels very shady. My sister and I spoke with the receptionist when we came in to clean out my father’s apartment. She said she would cancel the reservation, but they still won’t refund it. We don’t have the death certificate yet, so I’ll have to get a copy when it’s available and send it to them. I’m doubtful they’ll refund her even then. I’m grieving my Dad and now trying to help my friend get her money back. I’m so angry that I have to deal with this. Is this how we honor WW2 veterans? Veterans, do not book here!

Weather forced me to cancel my planned stay before an early flight to a funeral. The hotel went out of its way to make sure I got a refund for the room. I really appreciated the service and would stay there in the future.

This is a nice little motel in Eugene. The room was small but had what I needed, and everything was very clean. The area isn’t the best, but I slept soundly and didn’t hear excessive noise.

I wasn’t sure about booking here at first, especially since it wasn’t my first choice and most other places were fully booked. It turned out to be the right call. The facilities were excellent, everything was clean and well maintained, and the experience was much better than I expected. Glad I gave it a chance!

The place was much quieter than I expected for somewhere on 99, and it’s been remodeled and kept extremely clean. I picked it for the fair price and because it was near the venue where I was performing. There isn’t much to do right around it, but finding things nearby wasn’t a problem. It’s also close to the airport, handy if you’re traveling.
