The homemade breakfast was so good I was already wishing I could stay for another one when it was time to leave. They handled my Gluten-Free allergy with one of the best eggs Benedict's I've ever had. I came across the Campbell House on Expedia without knowing what to expect, and it ended up exceeding my lodging standards. The parking felt safe, downtown was walkable, and the garden oasis and historic buildings made the place special. 10/10, my new Eugene oasis! 😍

The breakfast was DELIGHTFUL, and the visitors were friendly with each other. This is a beautiful property, and I hope to return. I was welcomed warmly and helped by a lovely staff member when I arrived early in the afternoon on 10/14. The beds are very comfortable, too. Watch your footing if your room is downstairs by the Cogswell room, there are steps and some odd spots where you could lose your step. One thing that could work better is the breakfast timing. The very kind lady seemed to rush in around 7:30, so it wasn't exactly on time. That can be tough if you're heading to a training or conference. I wanted more time to enjoy the space and delicious food. Thank you!

The overnight train was the one downside, so bring earplugs. Some guests in the carriage house said they didn't hear it, though, and the stay was still worth it. The bed-and-breakfast is quaint and beautiful, with absolutely lovely grounds. Everyone working there went out of their way to treat us well. Breakfast was delicious and savory, and I really enjoyed the bold coffee.

Breakfast was the best part for us. It began with coffee and a choice of five fresh juices, followed by a scone and fruit. Our cinnamon white chocolate scone was delicious. Then we could pick sweet or savory: a waffle with cinnamon slow-cooked apples, cream cheese, and cinnamon mousse, or eggs Benedict. Both came with tasty thick-cut bacon. We stayed in the cozy carriage house for a short visit and found it restful and relaxing. The check-in associate was kind, helpful, and accommodating, even offering to show us other rooms before we chose. Check-in also came with a glass of wine, plus another for each night, and they had non-alcoholic options too, which was thoughtful. The only small gripes were the three uncomfortable pillows and a TV remote that didn't work well, with somewhat dated TVs. Those things were minor. I can't recommend this little bed and breakfast enough.

The complimentary evening wine and the gorgeous grounds were a nice surprise, and there are lots of restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were clean, charming, and thoughtfully designed, with a SUPER comfortable bed. Since I had an early bike ride, they brought a boxed breakfast to my room, including a mini coffee maker with excellent coffee already ground and ready, plus real half and half. Such a sweet boutique B&B/Inn. If I'm back in Eugene, I'll stay here again.
