The rooms are pretty cheap, and the walls are thick enough that noisy neighbors weren't a concern. I had a good experience overall and liked the room, but the beds didn't seem clean. There were stains and crumbs underneath the sheets.

The price seemed high for the quality and services. I booked a Chase rewards deal at a rate that felt like a 3.5 / 4 star hotel, but this is a budget place that felt more like two stars. I expected more from a Wyndham property. For what we got, I think it should be under $80, perhaps $60-$70 a night. I won't return or recommend it, and I'm sure there are better, cheaper options. The rooms looked straight out of the 1970s, and everything felt old. Ours smelled of stale air when we walked in. The queen bed took up most of the space, leaving about two feet to walk on either side, and the bathroom was tiny and dated. The office was small and cluttered behind the desk, though the receptionist was nice. They said breakfast would be served there, and I couldn't see how that would work. When I went back for another key, a man checking in was looking out the window at a homeless man going through the trash. I don't know if that's common or accepted in Oregon, since we're from Los Angeles, but I thought he should have been shooed away. The parking layout was awful. There's one way in and one way out around the back, so if you're lost or looking for your room and parking spot, you have to exit and circle back from the main street. Update: I went down for breakfast at 8 a.m. It was packed, with us, two couples, and a family barely able to move around. The selection was decent: coffee, bananas, small cereal boxes, small containers of milk to take, chocolate milk, bagels with individually wrapped Philadelphia cream cheese, muffins, and granola bars. The coffee tasted like peanuts to me, and wasn't good. The bagel felt fibrous, with a sandy, grainy texture after chewing. Aside from those complaints, breakfast was a nice feature and was great.

My kids loved the breakfast, with individually wrapped danishes, Grandma’s cookies, mini cereal boxes, and fruit, and the beds were comfortable. But I paid to use the washer and dryer and neither worked. When I told the woman at the desk, she offered me quarters if I had two dollars. Why would I need more coins for a machine that doesn't work? The bathroom was old and gross. I wouldn't say it's worth the price if you're paying over $50 a night.

There are plenty of restaurants and a grocery store nearby, and I enjoy staying at Broadway inn. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and they have a laundry unit. The people are friendly and considerate of guests and their needs.
