Bridgeford House Bed and Breakfast

Sharon and Amber made delicious hot breakfasts every morning, and were so welcoming that we were encouraged to linger in the parlor or garden rather than hurry off. Amber was especially accommodating. The home is beautiful and historic, with lovely decor that isn't too fancy or "girly," which Hubby appreciated. It also has modern features: wi-fi, TVs with lots of channels, a microwave, mini-fridge, fireplace, and wonderful bedding. The in-room coffee and tea, plus a coffee maker, were much appreciated. The big claw-foot tub had plenty of hot water, which can be hit or miss in an older home. Keep in mind the house has several levels and stairs. We only needed one small staircase since we parked on the street, but if stairs are a concern, ask Amber or Sharon for a room recommendation. I'm sure they'll find the right fit. We were completely impressed with our first B&B stay in Eureka Springs. The house dates to 1884 but has had extensive updates, including current electrical and plumbing. Every room is charmingly decorated in the style of that period, and each has a story. The owner was delightful, shared local history, and made a delicious breakfast. From the off-street parking, we could walk to dozens of historic and interesting places. We'll stay here again next time we're in town. Eric Manuel from Maumelle, Arkansas.

For our first trip to Eureka Springs, this charming BNB was just right for a girls' trip. We stayed in the Penthouse, which had lots of room, a quaint sitting area, two separate bedrooms with their own baths, and a small kitchenette. There are a lot of steps to reach it if someone's booked the downstairs room inside, but that didn't bother us. We walked downtown and back several times. Breakfast was amazing, and the owner and manager were both attentive and gracious. We'll definitely come again!

Sharon and Amber were warm and friendly, and the room was comfortable and clean. Lots of attractions and restaurants are nearby, close enough for us to walk to dinner and go shopping. I'd stay again.
