Best Western Plus Bayshore Inn

Sylvia made our last morning feel like home. She prepared the complimentary breakfast herself, and you could taste the care in the gravy, potatoes, and omelets. After traveling across the country, that home-style food and kindness were such a gift. We’d stayed at several hotels along the way, including Hilton and Marriott properties, but this Best Western in Eureka really stood out. The bed was the most comfortable of our whole trip, and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating with our late check-in and two dogs. That care made a long day feel easier. Thanks to the whole team, especially Sylvia. We’ll remember this stay.

We had the room with the big jet tub, which was cool, but otherwise it was a standard room. The breakfast was the best we had on our two-week trip, with great food and plenty of options. Sylvia in the breakfast room was kind and attentive without hovering.

The breakfast was tasty and more than enough. We used reward points, and Detrasha at reception made sure we got a great room. It was quiet and spacious, with a whirlpool. The hotel has four or five buildings around a courtyard. I wouldn’t pay extra for a bay view, since you don’t really get one.

Our room was clean and breakfast was nicely done, and check-in went smoothly. Booking online was easy, and we got a reminder, which is helpful when you’re on a road trip with stays in several places. We’d definitely stay here again.
