The renovations, whether finished or still underway, didn’t get in the way of a comfortable visit. My room was clean, and they were kind and accommodating when I arrived with my cat. Checking out was easy, too. Thanks to the staff for making the stay feel safe and comfortable. Worth trying.

We showed up late without a reservation and were able to get a room. The hotel is being remodeled, but our room was clean and comfortable. The TV wasn’t working at first, though the staff helped us get it going. Thanks for the hospitality!

We couldn’t shower because the knob was broken, and getting hot water meant jiggling it until it landed in the right spot. The staff member showed me how, but I asked how I was supposed to know that. Both rooms I booked smelled strongly of mildew and mold and were disgusting. I also found mold, water damage on the ceiling, and flooring that cut my foot Friday night. We were in town for the Alabama game, checked in around 10 p.m. Friday, then left early Saturday for Game Day and the game. When we returned, I saw that someone had been in our rooms even though there was no reason to go in. At the desk, the man got defensive when I asked why and listed the room problems. When I asked to move, he said he needed to call his manager. More than an hour later he came back to say we could switch rooms. My husband had gone to get food, and when I opened the door, the man was recording me. I didn’t feel comfortable changing rooms after that. This was the worst experience, and I don’t recommend this company. Zero stars.

The hot water didn’t work. I told the front desk twice, but they only smiled and nodded, so there was a language barrier. There were bugs in the room, and some tile edges were jagged enough to cut a child’s foot if they ran around.
