I've seen this place decline, and it's sad because it never used to be this dirty. Our first room was so gross we had to ask for another: dirty surfaces, a mold-covered heating vent, and hair all over the bed and sheets. The second room was somewhat better, but its sheets were still dirty and hairy, and a garbage bag in the closet made the room smell. I don't believe they wash the bedding or even check and clean rooms after guests leave.

Do not recommend this place, especially for parents. There was no breakfast, and the first room wasn't clean or made up after the previous guest. When I asked to switch, the old man at the desk insisted it was clean and said they were completely booked, though there were only four cars in the lot. I took pictures and showed him; with a lot of attitude, he gave me a second room that was significantly less dirty, as if that was acceptable. Check-in had already felt like a red flag: the old man was unpleasant, scanned my driver's license onto a blurry document with “NO REFUND” in big bold letters, and made me sign it. Please avoid this place.

For the cheapest hotel we could find at the time, it was worth the price, and the room, 110, had what we needed. The room was decently clean, though its shower curtain was kind of mangled. We stayed one night, and it was just okay, nothing special. The front desk guy said the key cards didn't work, so one of us had to stay in the room at all times or we'd be locked out without anyone to open the door. For just one night it wasn't much trouble, but a longer stay could get annoying. The room wasn't too bad, and honestly I can't complain too much. Just be aware there are no refunds after check-in, and check the room before committing.

I have a baby with me in these conditions, and I'm in tears because this is unacceptable. The room smells disgusting, with stained sheets, cigar burns, dust everywhere, and brown, dusty, broken curtains with mildew. At the front desk they were rude and said they wouldn't refund me. Now I feel trapped: the owner says I still have to pay the $430 even if I leave right now and don't stay. I can't afford to lose that money. Everything bad you can think of is at this hotel. It deserves zero stars and needs to be investigated and shut down because it's unhealthy for people to stay here.

No thanks. The carpet is awful and all the furniture is marked up. The place is overdue for a refresh, and seeing homeless people checking in didn't help. I'd drive the 30 minutes to Watertown for a real hotel.
