The staff were friendly, which was the bright spot. But check-in was at 3 p.m. and everyone had to wait while housekeeping finished the rooms. Ours looked hastily put together. In both rooms we rented, bathroom tiles had come off the walls, with corner pieces on the floor, and both hot and cold faucet handles were loose. The more we looked, the more problems we noticed. The front desk clerk was dog-sitting for guests, and their two kids were in the lobby playing on the computer meant for guests.

The room was spacious, including a good-sized bathroom, and the staff were accommodating and nice. There was an okay breakfast bar, plus a pool and hot tub for the kids. It was a nice hotel.

Getting back onto the highway was easy, and the hotel was simple to reach from it. The room seemed clean, though it was a little untidy and the sheets had stains.

The whole place felt a little eerie, and the breakfast honestly wasn't very good. The rooms were decent, and so was the front desk person, who had a baby in a diaper running around. The price wasn't the best either. And please, for the love of god, don't go to the Outback Steakhouse right next to the hotel. You'll get sick and lose your appetite for a couple of days.

For the price, it was a decent stay. The rooms and bathrooms could use some updating: a few tiles were popping up, and the tub had stains from years of use. Otherwise, it was okay.
