Osceola Grand Hotel

I was hoping this could work for relatives coming in for a family wedding this May, since it's only a few miles from the ceremony and reception and the event runs for several days. But after staying here as a test, I can't recommend it to the couple dozen or more people traveling from around the country. The sink had dried blue toothpaste and a hair in it, plus a large black hair in the counter corner. None of it was ours, our toothpaste is white and our hair is red and brunette. The room was very dusty along the walls and behind the furniture, and the coffee tray was dirty, with crusty buildup inside the pod area. Maybe the water had something to do with that, but I wasn't willing to take a chance. There was also just one curtain panel, and it didn't fully cover the window. I really disliked the towels. They felt like the microfiber ones my husband uses in the garage, and they were thin and didn't absorb well, so I needed two full-size towels to dry off. At least the sheets and towels were clean.

I was impressed enough to leave a good review before even trying breakfast. The staff were friendly and very professional, and I felt it was worth every cent. I'd come back. My only suggestion is to find a new maintenance person for touch-ups, like painting over the patched holes. Joe

The hotel is older and modest, but I needed somewhere near Spring Hill and the kindness of the staff made the stay. They offered me a later checkout, and I was able to work comfortably in the lobby. Service was 12/10.

Good value for the money, and it's pet friendly. The beds were clean and comfortable, but the bathroom could use some fixing. Our vent wasn't working, which would've helped the room feel fresher, and the window needed a wash. Breakfast was good on the weekend, though there wasn't much to choose from during the week.
