Best Western Cascadia Inn

We won't be coming back. After many previous stays when housekeeping came without us asking, this time nobody told us service had to be requested. When we asked about it, we got a string of excuses. The service after we finally requested it was poor too: towels were just tossed on the racks, coffee supplies weren't replaced, and cleaning rags were left on the furniture. There were other problems on top of that. The key card had the wrong dates, so we were locked out a day early. Our request for express checkout at check-in wasn't carried out, and the front desk clerk had locked themself out of the hotel and had to be let in to check us out. Very poor service.

The location worked well for us, with good parking and the Everett event center nearby. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the desk was nice. It has had some sprucing up, but this is still an older Best Western. The windows haven't been updated, so you can hear some city noise.

The hotel is older, but it was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The staff were welcoming, and there was plenty of parking. Breakfast was standard chain-hotel fare, though I liked the pan-fried potatoes with onion, which I haven't seen at other locations. The setting isn't especially scenic, but it was one of the more affordable places in the area and suited a quick stay well.

The hotel was lovely and really clean, and the staff were friendly. Erica deserves a shout-out for being so supportive and helpful with a situation that was my own doing. I had a great experience and highly recommend it.
