Highland Haven Creekside Inn

We've been coming to Highland Haven for years, and the same familiar staff faces have welcomed us over the past several visits. They're always friendly, and this cozy place feels like a magical woodland fairy tale. We usually choose the tree house, though the hillside cottages and cliffside accommodations are lovely too, and some options welcome dogs. It's within walking distance of downtown. Breakfast delivered to the room is excellent, and the complimentary happy hour is a nice extra. They keep finding ways to make the retreat feel special. Highly recommend!

We chose the Treehouse suite for the three days around our elopement, and it became both of our favorite stay ever. We travel around the state often and have stayed in plenty of nice places, but Highland Haven stands apart. It's close to downtown, yet the trees screen out the views and sounds, making it feel like an oasis. As vegans, we often miss out on included breakfasts, but the team made us a generous spread of homemade options: avocado toast, coconut yogurt with fresh fruit, vegan blueberry pancakes, and roasted potatoes. Since we had to leave at 4am for a flight on our final day, they prepared fresh fruit and vegan oatmeal the night before. The Treehouse decor and inclusions were so carefully chosen, and we loved the view of the evergreen trees from the patio. We plan to return every year. Thank you, Highland Haven!

I hosted my micro wedding at Highland Haven in September 2025, with the rehearsal, ceremony, and lodging for my whole family there. Grace was my main contact while planning and exceeded what we hoped for. She was kind, flexible, and generous with her time, always answering questions and helping everyone feel comfortable. The stay itself was wonderful: comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, and a great location. My family kept praising both our venue choice and the staff. We're so grateful Highland Haven made the event beautiful, and we plan to return each anniversary. For an event or a visit to Evergreen, this place has charm, warmth, and a convenient location. We brought our out-of-town family and friends to Highland Haven for the week of our Evergreen Lake House wedding, and staying there was nearly as exciting as the wedding. The property made a lovely setting for our pre-ceremony photos, too. It was so charming to see our guests relaxing by the creek, reading in the Dailey Cabin, or walking into downtown Evergreen. I hated leaving and going back to reality, but we're planning to return for future anniversaries.
