Being about an hour outside Denver, Juniper Lodge and Tree Houses is a great base for getting around. It's off I-70 in Genesee Park, tucked among pine trees with amazing views. We've been coming back over the six years since Juniper House first started, and Ashley and Aleia greeted us warmly at the lodge, sat and caught up, and were excited for us to see the new tree houses. They're proud of the place, helpful, and always ready for questions. In the new Mountaineer tree house, we loved the cozy room, views, and hammock where we could sit and watch out the windows. The seclusion gave us a break from the internet so we could play games and relax. This place has exceeded everything I'd expect from an Air B&B. The owners, rooms, and views make it a romantic escape we look forward to every year.

The upstairs Evergreen room worked perfectly for my partner and me, and the hosts were lovely. We enjoyed the lodge's sitting areas and fireplaces for board games and wine. It's easy to drive to Golden or Idaho Springs, and Glenwood is a smooth two hours away if you're into hot springs like we are. There are quite a few stairs, so be prepared for those. Such a perfect place!

Our wedding at Juniper Treehouses & Lodge yesterday felt magical. The property is breathtaking, peaceful, intimate, and so well looked after. It felt special as soon as we arrived, and even more so on the day itself. Alea and Ashley were wonderful, supporting us throughout and making sure everything ran smoothly. Their kindness, care, and attention to detail meant a lot. The lodge is warm, inviting, and beautifully designed, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how unique it was. This place will always have a piece of our hearts, and we can't wait to visit again. Whether you're planning a wedding, getaway, or another special occasion, it's a beautiful venue with a great team.

The part I dreaded most was leaving Juniper Lodge + Treehouse. I may have cried a little on my way out, but I'll absolutely be back, perhaps for an annual treehouse retreat. I booked the Mountaineer Treehouse alone for a few days after my Dad passed away, needing a pause from life. A treehouse seemed just right, and it let me try something new, which felt fitting because my Dad's lifelong motto was 'Try Everything Once.' Ashley and Alea were thoughtful from our first interaction and made me feel at home. Ashley welcomed me, helped with my luggage for the 2 night stay, offered me bubbly, then showed me around the Lodge and walked me to my private treehouse. It matched the website description but felt even cozier in person, and the decor, amenities, and service showed how carefully every detail was considered. This was exactly what I needed and more. I have an entrepreneurial background and a sharp eye for detail and customer expectations, so it's saying a lot that I can't think of anything to critique. I especially loved the Lofted Hammock, stargazing through the glass ceiling as I drifted off, morning coffee by the fire-pit, and evening s'mores by the fire-pit. Thank you, Ashley and Alea, for creating such a warm, inviting escape and for your hospitality. Until next time, Debi.

This was our second visit to Juniper, and it was just as lovely as we remembered. It's a handy spot in the mountains for unwinding, with cozy rooms, a beautifully curated home, and shared areas to relax in. Both times it felt like a private oasis despite the shared spaces. When we're in Evergreen again, we'll definitely stay here, and maybe try one of the cool treehouses next time.
