Quality Inn

The bed was comfortable, though the two double beds I got weren't the two queens I booked, and they weren't big enough for two people. The hotel is convenient to I-65 South, but sits between two abandoned businesses and looks very run down outside. Inside, it was clean and there were no bugs, but it needs a remodel and some sprucing up. There was no cable or internet, and the clerk said they'd been out for a while. The TV was off the wall and sitting on the dresser. The toilet kept running and the sink dripped all night. I paid $62, and wouldn't want to have paid more.

The first room's sheets were filthy when I pulled back the covers, and the front desk said I couldn't get a refund, so we were moved to another room. Its bed had clean sheets, but everything else was dirty. There was hair on the back of the toilet, and the one towel and two washcloths needed to be thrown away. They said the TV service was out because the satellite had been struck by lightning almost two weeks ago. I stayed here last night and was very disappointed. Never again. I have attached pictures.

The bed was comfy, which is what we needed while traveling so we could rest a few hours and continue to our destination. But check-in took almost half an hour, and in the room the lamps, TV, and, most importantly, heater didn't work. There were roaches too. I saw them running around in the morning while getting my purse. Please read the reviews. I was tired this time and didn't check them before making the reservation.

Red Roof is usually my go-to when I travel with pets, and I stay at their places often. This building and the rooms are really dated and worn, but it still did the job as a place to sleep during my 1,200-mile trip, so I wouldn't rule out booking here again. The cable and TV were a letdown: the sound cut in and out, lines kept showing on the picture, and there weren't many channels. I did have a working microwave, coffee maker, fridge, iron, and hair dryer. The bed was decent, with clean sheets and plenty of pillows, though I always bring my own. One odd first for me was getting a call from the front desk asking if the room seemed "in order" when I'd barely walked in. This wasn't up to what I've come to expect from Red Roof, but it wasn't the worst place I've stayed either. It could use some improvements.
