Sundara West Bed and Breakfast

The Lavender room had a very comfortable bed and a lovely view across the countryside, with snow-covered mountains behind it. We liked making tea or coffee in the library and settling in with one of the books. Breakfast was delicious and generous, especially the flavorful French toast and plump sausages. Jackie gets eggs from a local farm and makes them the way you like. She was kind and thoughtful throughout, with care in all the little details. The old Victorian feel made the B&B seem welcoming as soon as we came in, almost like being home. We stayed for our anniversary and found it peaceful and restful, just the place to get away and unwind. My husband and I are already looking forward to returning. It left us feeling refreshed.

We had a great time here. The tent felt cozy but still roomy, and we loved the big bed and hot tub. Cooking on the grill and eating out on the cute patio was a lot of fun. The property is beautiful, with hikes nearby and Bellingham not too far away. Jackie was helpful and quick to respond. Thanks for such a lovely stay.

The quiet country setting made for such a peaceful stay, and our bed was very comfortable. Jackie also pointed us toward beautiful parks, sights, hikes, and some amazing restaurants near Bellingham. The house is lovely and well kept, with flowers everywhere, a big porch lined with rocking chairs, a swimming pool, and a hot tub. Breakfast was a treat each morning, beautiful to look at, filling, and consistently delicious. Jackie’s attention to the details and amenities was beyond what we’ve experienced at other B&Bs. This was our best B&B experience. We couldn’t have been happier at Sundara West and hope to return soon.

We had a really lovely stay in the country. The library was a special spot to relax, and the cozy room was perfectly clean. Breakfast was delicious and different each day. We also enjoyed talking with the host and the other guest around the breakfast table. Mount Baker is an hour away, and we had a fun day skiing there. We’re planning to come back.
