Hampton Inn & Suites Exmore - Eastern Shore

I was upgraded to a very spacious room with two queen beds, a couch, desk and several chairs. Everything felt clean and welcoming, and the Hampton Inn Exmore seems very well run. Breakfast was a standard hotel spread, but I enjoyed it. There’s an outdoor pool and fitness center too. A high quality Hampton at an inexpensive price.

After a long drive, the clean, comfortable suite was just what we needed. Yvette at the front desk was welcoming, friendly and hospitable. The rest of the staff were professional and friendly too.

On August 9th, 2025, my wife, our two kids and I stayed here, and I strongly recommend against it. We found white powder all over the carpet. My wife told the staff downstairs, and they sent someone up to vacuum it. I assume it was dry carpet shampoo. Then I noticed a brown stain on the outside blanket. When I pulled back the sheets, there were pubic hairs in the bed. They hadn’t changed the sheets, just remade the bed. We went down to complain and were told they’d give us points, which was outrageous. They never gave us the points anyway. My wife later found food from another guest in the fridge and took it downstairs to put on the counter. They said they’d only charge us $150 for the room, but charged the full amount instead. We still haven’t gotten our money back. I’ll never stay here again. It’s disgusting, and guests need to be able to trust that the bedding is changed between stays.

For a Hampton Inn, I’m really surprised by the quality of this hotel and its staff. I was here for work and, despite asking, my room wasn’t cleaned for four straight days. That was unacceptable. Breakfast was the only good part. The staff were rude and didn’t seem to care. They need better coaching and leadership; this could be a better hotel.
