I only spent about 15 minutes in the room before deciding I couldn’t stay. While checking it over, I found a lot of hair in the bathtub and blood on the towel by the tub. The furniture also looked old, and the hotel felt very run down. I told the girl at the desk I was leaving and explained why. She said hotels.com had to start the refund request. Customer service at hotel.com assured me the issue would be resolved positively, but I got an email today saying the manager is refusing to refund my money. I didn’t stay at this disgusting hotel. If any of the workers had looked, they would have seen the bloody towel. I should have taken a picture. Please stay somewhere else; there are many better places in the area. I’ll keep fighting to get my money back.

The breakfast was good, and the room was clean and very nice. The bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. The lobby and breakfast room were inviting and well maintained. The young woman who checked us in was pleasant, efficient, and professional. When we found a problem with the TV, she came right to the room and fixed it. She’s the kind of front desk employee every hotel should have. We’d definitely stay here again.

I waited seven minutes to check out, then left my key cards on the counter and went on my way. The employee had come in from outside, stepped behind the counter, and gone into the back office without coming back out. The room and bed were comfortable, though the shower water took several minutes to warm up. Breakfast was the usual continental spread. I overheard that the hostess was 80 and walking to work in those miserable cold conditions. I wish the hotel could pay her more so she wouldn’t have to walk.

On this third stay, the room needed some upgrades. The chair looked like it had been there since the motel first opened, the drapes were torn, and the bathroom needed new faucets. The room door looked as if someone had broken in. My first two visits were fine, with no complaints, apart from the man working during breakfast running the vacuum around us while we ate. I thought that was rude. I’d stay again, but I’d make sure to get a better room.
