Horrible. The attendant seemed drunk and let me into a room that was already occupied. After he finally figured out how to set up my card key for an empty room, I found it disgusting. Roaches were crawling up the walls, the counters were covered in burn marks, and there was a blood-stained rag at the top of the closet. If negative stars were possible, I’d give it a -10.

The showers need fixing. The showerhead only gives a rain-like spray with no way to change the flow, and there’s so little pressure that rinsing shampoo and conditioner out of your hair is hard. None of the remodeled rooms seem to have shower rods or curtains, so if there’s a tub, it only really works for taking a bath. A normal shower is part of a decent hotel stay, especially at the rate they charge. There are also strange characters hanging around at all hours. This isn’t a nice place to stay. Do better.

We ended up leaving because the room was dirty. I lifted the sheets to check for bedbugs and found dirty sheets instead. There wasn’t any toilet paper, and one of my kids had already used the toilet while we were traveling. At the desk, I said we were leaving and asked for a refund. The owner said she wanted to inspect the room, then came back with a trash bag containing a pad and said it would have to be cleaned. She didn’t seem keen to refund us. She eventually returned the charge to our card, though we haven’t confirmed it yet, but first insisted on $10 cash for cleaning. I said I’d give her $5 just to end the argument. She wasn’t happy, but accepted it. Save yourself the headache and don’t stay here.

My husband surprised me with a little getaway for the two of us, and I loved it. The room was clean, nice, and in order. But the hallways by the non-smoking rooms smelled only of cigarettes, and it made me sick. That ruined the mood when we went out to get something to eat.
