La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fairfield - Napa Valley

Om was a terrific host, professional and kind, and a real pleasure to talk to. The hotel is clean and tidy, the beds are comfortable, and it's centrally located. It's a good base if you need Vacaville to the east or the Napa/Sonoma region to the west. I stay here whenever I'm working in the area. Thanks, Om!

I've stayed here several times, for multiple days each visit, and have never had a bad experience. The manager Ohm is a wonderful person who always goes out of his way to make the stay pleasant. The rooms are all tidy and clean, and breakfast is always delicious. The heater and AC work well, the shower gets hot right away, and the shower products are great. Of the hotels around here, this is the one I'll keep choosing.

The breakfast is pretty mediocre: coffee, tea, packet chocolate, cream cheese that seems decades old, bread that needs to be toasted or it's like a doorstop, a couple of juices, and the same waffle maker that's apparently been there for 500 years. At night, the entertainment is drunk people fighting outside your window. In the parking lot people smoke and drink, the lighting is poor, and you can't tell if someone might throw something at your car or if it'll still be there in the morning. I told the front desk, but they said there was nothing they could do because they didn't want to get hurt. I don't recommend this place at all. It's the sketchiest hotel I've stayed in, and I'm not coming back. If you're thinking of staying here for wine near Napa, I saw more boxed wine being drunk outside than wine inside the hotel, where there was none.

Vangie is the reason I gave this hotel five stars. She's amazing, helpful, super friendly, and goes above and beyond. I checked out at 11 a.m. but still had to stay at the hotel. Vangie told me places I could go, or said I could get comfortable in the lobby. She even remembered me from about six months ago. Crazy! On several days, housekeeping didn't come. When I asked about it, the staff couldn't communicate with me because they only speak Spanish. For a job where you need to communicate with customers, that felt like a major red flag.
