St. Clair Motor Lodge

Jill checked in on us a couple of times to make sure everything was okay, and anything we needed that wasn’t in the room was available in the common room. I was there for a convention and had a great experience. The pillows weren’t for me, but nobody loves everything. I’d definitely stay again, no questions.

We still haven’t managed to stay here, even though we come down to the lake often and don’t always want to stay with family. The place seems really nice, and my husband’s bummed. Last Friday, we called about one night. The woman said rooms were available and they took cash, but she wouldn’t drive to the lodge unless we booked two nights, so we went elsewhere. We called again today, Friday, hoping to finally get a room, and this time she said they only take cards. There seems to be a catch every time we try.

Quiet, clean, and safe. I loved how the old school travel lodge look has been updated with modern touches. It feels well thought out, with a fire pit, hammock, and grill. I won’t hesitate to stay again. Kudos!

The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help, and the rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. It was easy to get to my training site from the St. Claire Motor Lodge, and the restaurant right next door was a nice surprise, with great food close by. I had an excellent stay and will definitely return on my next visit.
